Two issues which we want to address for a sustainable product; being easy for recycling and increasing the lifetime of the product.
Firstly, the recycling process for traditional saddles revealed significant challenges due to the locking rail system, which complicates disassembly and decreases overall recycling rates. To optimize the recycling rate, we simplified the rail system by making it easily detachable, empowering consumers to disassemble the saddles.
Secondly, this mechanism is also convenient for consumers to replace the top of the saddle when it has been worn out. Hence, we increase the lifecycle of the product.
This design not only simplifies the recycling process but also ensures the structural integrity during use, balancing safety with eco-consciousness. It streamlined the recycling process or efficiency for replacement. Our goals are either lowering the recycle barriers, or extending the lifecycle.
Without replacing other parts of the bike, it can be easily installed. The saddle offers comfort through ergonomic design, enhancing the cycling experience. Its eco-friendly features also allow users to contribute to sustainability, improving riding quality while promoting a green lifestyle.
In previous years, we kept sourcing substitute materials or reducing our wastes to produce saddles. Yet, if we want to round up the circular economy, we need to provide easy disassembling solutions. We are proud this replaceable rail design showcase innovation in sustainable development.
The easy-recycle rails reduce environmental impact, reflecting our commitment to resource circulation and eco-friendliness. Our manufacture also benefits from this change to reduce carbon emission while assembling. This sustainable design encourages environmentally conscious consumer behavior.
